Ubisoft announced the “Post Launch” content for For Honor: The content from the Season Pass and free DLCs.
The leaked content for the Season Pass has now been officially confirmed. Ubisoft published the plans for the post-launch period of For Honor on February 14.
Thus, the Season Pass, which is set to cost $40:
- 6 new heroes: Two heroes will be released at the start of a new faction war season. Season Pass owners have 7 days early access before other players can also access these heroes. They must acquire the heroes with the in-game currency Steel, which can be earned by completing matches and in-game challenges.
- An exclusive emote
- Three exclusive emblems
- Three “Scavenger Crates”, with which you can obtain additional gear
- 30 days of Champion status: You and your friends will receive XP boosts as well as more XP from crafting and more loot at the end of matches.
All Season Pass content, except for the six heroes, will be available at the launch of For Honor on February 14. By the way: The Gold Edition of For Honor already includes the Season Pass and provides additional extras.
Free DLCs for new seasons
Anyone who acquires For Honor will receive additional content after launch at no extra cost. The cornerstone for the release of this content will be the seasons of the faction war. Every three months, a new season begins, at the start of which:
- two heroes
- two maps
- new rewards
- and new weapons and armor
will be introduced to the game. The “Year One” plan includes a total of six new heroes and six new maps. Those who own the Season Pass will have early access to some free content, such as the heroes.
Additionally, new features and gameplay modes will be introduced throughout the year, such as tournaments and ranked play.
According to Ubisoft, For Honor is intended to engage players long-term, and since all post-launch content that affects gameplay will be accessible to all players, the community will not be split. The war begins on February 14 – but this is just the beginning.
