How does the graphics of For Honor on PS4 Pro compare to PC? In the video, you can see the differences.
You don’t need a PS4 Pro to successfully master close combat battles in For Honor. The Pro doesn’t make you a better warrior either. However, if you want to play the game with high resolution, the standard PS4 is no longer sufficient.
The Pro version allows for 1440p (compared to 1080p) and delivers stable 30 FPS. While the standard console can certainly keep up with the framerates, there are small dips once in a while. Additionally, there are reports that the textures on the PS4 Pro are more detailed. A comparison between PS4 and PS4 Pro can be found in the link.
But how does the Pro version fare compared to the PC version at maximum graphics details? The Candylands YouTube channel provides an answer to this question. See for yourself:
The PC is set to maximum graphics details and runs at a resolution of 2160p. In contrast, For Honor runs at a resolution of 1440p on the PS4 Pro and is upscaled to 2160p.
Both versions make a strong graphical impression. In the video, you need to zoom in (400% zoom or 200% zoom) to see any differences.
The PC benefits from a higher draw distance, sharper shadows, and improved ambient occlusion. What system requirements your machine needs for For Honor, you can read here.
