In For Honor, Ninjas and Legionnaires could soon storm the battlefield as new heroes. This is indicated by an image related to the season pass.
Currently, there are 12 heroes available for you in For Honor: Four characters each from the Knight, Viking, and Samurai factions.
6 more new heroes promised – Are Ninja and Legionnaire two of them?
It is already known that this rank of heroes will receive new additions in 2017. Ubisoft announced the “Year 1” plan, which mentions six additional heroes.
The seasons of the faction war serve as cornerstones for the release of the heroes. After each season, two heroes, two maps, and additional content will be released. A season consists of 5 rounds, with each round lasting two weeks. As of the current status (February 23), there are still five days until the first round is completed. So, it will still take some time before we can expect new heroes.
But which new heroes are actually coming? Ubisoft is still tight-lipped about this. However, an image related to the season pass shows which two classes might come in the future.
New heroes: Ninja and Roman Legionnaire in For Honor
The image shows six heroes, with the four shadowy figures in the background being recognizable as existing characters. The two figures in the foreground, however, are currently (still) not in the game.
Upon closer examination of another image, one can see a Ninja holding Kamas – sickle weapons that Ninjas often fight with in films or games. This is likely a fast hero with light armor.
The second hero strongly resembles a Roman Legionnaire wielding a sword and clad in heavy armor.
Speculation can occur regarding which factions these potential heroes will belong to. Presumably, the Ninja will belong to the Samurai and the Legionnaire to the Knights. The introduction of new factions in Year 1 seems unlikely given the faction war model.
By the end of the first season at the latest, we will know which two new heroes will first find their way into the battle of For Honor.
