It will take a while until the first tests for For Honor are released.
In the gaming industry, it is common for large gaming sites to receive early access to the full version of an upcoming title. This allows them to extensively test the new game and write a review that can help potential customers in their purchasing decision.
However, this will not be the case for For Honor. According to Hardcoregamer, Ubisoft sent a statement to media partners stating that the final build of For Honor will not be available until launch.
The reason given is the open beta, which runs from February 9 to 12 and ties up the servers.
Reviewers can download the game earlier, but they must wait to start testing until the servers go live. There will not be dedicated servers set up specifically for the press. After all, the online aspect plays an important role, which should be conducted under real conditions.
Offline testing of the campaign is also not possible, as For Honor requires a permanent internet connection.
In this article, we harmonize with all information about the open beta and highlights from the last testing phases leading up to the upcoming beta.
