In For Honor, the first players have received their gifts: Ubisoft is distributing the Champion status as compensation.
A few days ago, Ubisoft announced that all players who acquired For Honor before 26.2. will receive compensation for the server outages last weekend. For several hours, the servers were unavailable during the night from Saturday to Sunday. Ubisoft’s online services were down globally, across platforms, and games.
As numerous users are now reporting, this compensation is live immediately. Ubisoft is gifting you the Champion status for three days. This gift is worth 2000 steel (in-game currency).
The Champion status provides you with some advantages in For Honor:
- More materials by dismantling
- +25% XP boost
- 3 exclusive Champion emblems
- More loot at the end of a match
- Exclusive Champion symbol
- +10% XP boost for team members. In a group of four players, you can earn up to +55% extra experience. So it’s particularly worthwhile to play For Honor this weekend, as all your buddies will also bring this experience points boost.
Compensation only available this weekend
The free Champion status is time-limited – specifically to this weekend. If you don’t have time to play in these days, you cannot “save” this gift. The free Champion status will expire for everyone next Monday.
If you haven’t received a gift yet, according to Ubisoft, you should be patient a little longer. Since many players are playing For Honor, it will take several hours for everyone to receive the Champion status.
