In For Honor, a screenshot has surfaced that could show a leak for a new hero. Is a Highlander coming soon?
For the past few hours, a possible new leak has been circulating in the For Honor subreddit forum. It is a screenshot that apparently shows a Highlander as a new hero.
The menu is in German, but the information about the Highlander is in English. He is described as a “Gaelic Warrior”. This leak does not provide much more information. No weapon or specific details can be recognized.
Fake or real?
Whether this leak is a fake or not is hard to judge. It resembles the more or less plausible leaks about the Ninja and the Legionnaire, which can be seen in the bottom left of the embedded image above. However, this new leak lacks the preview portrait of the Highlander, and why the figure in the background is so dark is also unclear.
This leak was spread by the well-known Twitch streamer iSkys, who claims to have received the screenshot from a mysterious unknown person. Thus, the leak cannot be verified.
Two new heroes after each season
Ubisoft’s “Year 1” plan states that two new heroes, two new maps, and additional content will be introduced to the game after each season. A season consists of 5 rounds, and each round lasts two weeks.
Currently, everything indicates that the Ninja and the Legionnaire will come after the first season. When to expect the Highlander, however, remains uncertain. However, none of this has been confirmed by Ubisoft.
Some Reddit users also speculate that this leak could be real and was intentionally spread by Ubisoft – to distract the community from the strong criticism of the steel prices. We currently do not have an official statement from Ubisoft.
