For Honor has information about the date and registration for the Closed Beta. Ubisoft also released several new trailers.
Ubisoft’s For Honor will be released on 02/14/17 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC – an online melee combat game that fans have high expectations for. You can find out for yourself next month if it meets those expectations, as a Closed Beta will start then.
The Beta will take place in January 2017. A specific time frame has not yet been set, but you can already register for it on the Ubisoft site.
Faction War Starts with the Beta
Simultaneously with the Beta, “War of the Factions” will become active, meaning the “Faction War”. Here, the choice of your faction plays a crucial role, as all your multiplayer successes will be tracked across platforms, attributed to the chosen faction, and recorded on a global leaderboard. The factions are the Knights, the Vikings, and the Samurai.
All Beta participants will receive a special in-game reward. Fighters of the winning faction will receive an additional prize, which will be announced at a later date.
The Faction War is intended to be a ten-week multiplayer challenge where you can contribute to the glory of your faction. After this season, the prizes will be distributed, and the Faction War will begin again after a break.

The New Heroes:
Warlord (Viking): The Warlord has a short range and is designed for a counter-fighting style. “Warlords are not born into their ranks; they must earn it through blood, sweat, and steel.”
Peacekeeper (Knight): “Peacekeepers are fast and deadly and can defeat an opponent before they even realize it.” This hero also has a short range but is fast, likewise designed for a counter-fighting style.
Shugoki (Samurai): “Shugoki may initially appear heavy, but do not be deceived – they possess the strength of demons and have an iron will.” This hero has a strong attack and favors the disarming play style.
