For Honor, the bloody sword fighting melee game, is going into closed alpha soon. In it, we can expect three multiplayer maps and two new characters, the “Conqueror” and the “Berserker”.
This week, on September 15, it starts, as Ubisoft’s brutal yet complex sword-fighting action For Honor releases as closed alpha. In it, we get to test three PvP modes: the 1vs1 duel, the Brawl (2vs2) mode, and finally Dominion, where four players compete against each other.
Conqueror and Berserker complete the selection
To prevent nameless hordes of NCS soldiers and peasants from conquering the enemy fortresses, a whole range of hardened warriors are available for the three factions. The Samurai have the Kensei and the agile Orochi, the knights have the Warden, and the Vikings have the Raider. Now, the Conqueror and the Berserker join them.

The Conqueror belongs to the knights’ faction and is a burly guy who blocks with a shield and mercilessly crushes opponents’ defenses with a war flail. Thus, the Conqueror should make a good tank. The Berserker from the Viking faction, on the other hand, is anything but a tank. This lightly armored warrior fights offensively with two axes and slashes through his enemies like a whirlwind. Closed Alpha? Where? How? When?
The closed alpha of For Honor unfortunately only lasts a few days, from September 15 to 18, 2016. Alongside the aforementioned content, a progression system will also be tested, in which you can gradually unlock new weapons and armor for your heroes. If you want to participate in the alpha, you need a bit of luck, as the spots are strictly limited. However, you can register for the alpha on the Ubisoft website for the alpha via the provided link.
