The Year 3 of the online game For Honor is approaching. Ubisoft has now announced what content fans can expect in the “Year of the Harbinger.”
The developers of For Honor are planning new updates, seasons, and events. You can expect more content to keep the action game interesting.
What’s coming? On January 31, 2019, the “Year of the Harbinger” starts in For Honor. A roadmap shows you what to expect. You can use the “Year 3 Season Pass” to access new content seven days before everyone else.
The pass also allows you to receive five relic collector chests, 30 days of champion status, and a special Thunderbolt and Fear effect for all heroes.
- Season 1 “Vortiger” – The season runs from January 31 to April and brings a new hero for the Knight faction
- Season 2 – From May to July, the next, yet unnamed season starts, giving you access to a new Samurai hero
- Season 3 – The third season begins in August and ends in October. You will gain access to another Viking character
- Season 4 – This yet unnamed season introduces another hero for the Wu Lin. The season takes place from November to probably January 2020
Additionally, events are planned. A special event will take place for each season. Furthermore, a Halloween event is scheduled for the end of October 2019.

What does this mean for fans of For Honor? After a successful year 2018, For Honor will have another whole year with new content and improvements. Ubisoft currently has no plans to neglect the action game. The slaughter epic has a large player base that naturally wants to be provided with new content.
As the roadmap shows, For Honor is not dead, and though the game has not always had it easy. But Ubisoft managed to rekindle and maintain player interest through constant updates. And this is set to continue in 2019.
As a fan, you can look forward to a lot of new content and if you have been waiting to start, now is a good time to dive in. Because at least for the coming year, the action game will still be well supported by Ubisoft.
