As Disney and Lucasfilm recently announced, the famous bounty hunter “The Mandalorian” and Baby Yoda will get their own movie. This will especially please one person: leading actor Pedro Pascal.
In January 2024, instead of a fourth season The Mandalorian, a movie was announced, titled: The Mandalorian & Grogu.
This is exactly what the main actor of the Star Wars series, Pedro Pascal, wished for back in 2022, as a short clip on X.com shows.
Here, you can see a trailer for the series The Mandalorian:
In an interview with Fandango from the D23 Expo in 2022, the actor’s enthusiasm is evident when talking about a film for The Mandalorian.
So, the interviewer asked a director and producer of The Mandalorian, Rick Famuyiwa, if it would be conceivable to end the series with a film.
Rick Famuyiwa visibly searched for words to cleverly dodge the question. In the end, he only said that he didn’t know anything about it.
You can see the clip of the interview yourself:
Pedro Pascal quickly jumped in and answered the question enthusiastically on behalf of the director: “Yes, he would.”
The lead actor of The Mandalorian then continued: “It’s a great idea and if it weren’t already in discussion, it would be after today.” He then looked at Rick Famuyiwa with a grin and started to laugh.

Will there be a fourth season of Mandalorian? That is still uncertain at the moment. So far, there has been no official announcement on how the series will proceed and whether the movie will appear instead of or in addition to another season.
