In my everyday life, I sit a lot at my desk: either because of my job or because I play games with friends in the evenings. On average, that’s easily 10 hours a day.
I bought an ergonomic seat cushion for my everyday life back then. My first experiences were surprisingly positive and my buttocks immediately thanked me for the improved seating posture. By now, I’ve been using the cushion for 2 years and would buy it again.
I am neither a doctor nor a trained orthopedist, but after so many hours, I can say: I have certainly done a real favor to my buttocks with the Feela cushion.

I have been using the cushion almost every day for 2 years
The orthopedic seat cushion has now accompanied me daily in my everyday life for just over 2 years. The first few days are a bit of an adjustment because you sit higher and “differently”. After a few days, I found sitting with the cushion much more comfortable.
With the cushion, I can sit at my desk for several hours at a time without my butt and back hurting. Instead of sitting stiffly at my workstation, the cushion encourages me to move around on the seat and reposition myself regularly.
After well over two years, I’ve used the cushion for about 10 hours every day, 365 days a year. So roughly estimated, more than 7,000 hours. The material in the cushion is now quite soft, while the cushion cover is still in impeccable condition.
Would I order the cushion again? Yes, I would actually order it again:
- The cushion noticeably improved my everyday life.
- I find the price-performance ratio of 40 euros for 7,000 hours to be perfectly fine.
- The workmanship is absolutely good, wear is low, and the cover is washable.
However, there is one thing I would do differently with my next purchase: Instead of the soft version (50 – 80 Kg), I would rather opt for the medium version (60 – 100 Kg).
The downside of the cushion is that the cover is sensitive to pet hair and fluff. I have to clean it regularly. The seating comfort is also not perfect for everyone. I have acquaintances in my circle of friends who find the cushion simply uncomfortable. But here, the same applies as for a gaming mouse: try it out until you find the right model, or return it in the worst case.
Are there alternatives? There are also other manufacturers offering similar ergonomic cushions apart from my chosen product. You can already get such ergonomic cushions for around 20 euros if you want to save money or simply look for a cheaper alternative.
However, I have had the best experience with the Feela cushion to this day. And many reviewers on Amazon feel the same: After all, the product has over 12,000 reviews with more than 4.2 stars.
