The badges in Destiny 2 are once again under criticism these days: Because these would represent the new endgame, as the Guardians are currently chasing not new weapons and armor pieces, but only new badges.
The latest reason for the criticism is the revamp of the Nightfall strike, which only offers new badges as a reward.
Nevertheless, the badges still hold great significance for many Guardians: They not only beautify the character menu, but also serve as the background of one’s gamertag. Other Guardians that you encounter in the game will see your badge directly.
Therefore, many players want a cool or rare emblem that stands out from the crowd. And if you are willing to invest a few extra euros into the game, you will soon be able to get a new, exclusive badge – along with a golden collectible figure.
A Bungie Store exclusive, golden Osiris
The emblem is called “Sonic Simulation” and features a colorful triangle on a black-orange background, which is likely meant to represent the entrance to the Infinite Forest: The collectible figure is a golden Osiris. It is a “Funko Pop” figure that can stand on its own and is about 10 centimeters tall.
To obtain both, you need to buy the golden Osiris at the Bungie Store (link opens a new page). The badge is then included for free. The golden Osiris is exclusive to Bungie, and you can only get it through the store.
The price is 11.99 US dollars. However, you should consider that shipping to Germany costs almost the same again. In total, you should expect about 22.50 dollars, which is approximately 18 euros.

The golden Osiris can currently only be pre-ordered. It is expected to ship at the end of May 2018. The second DLC for Destiny 2 is also expected at the end of May. Whether there will be a connection between a golden Osiris and the second DLC is currently a matter of speculation.
