Fishing in Genshin Impact – All Fishing Spots at a Glance

With the patch 2.1 in Genshin Impact, fishing was introduced as a new feature in the game, resulting in the presence of smaller fishing spots scattered throughout the vast areas. At these spots, you can catch certain fish species. MeinMMO shows you all fishing spots at a glance.

How do you unlock fishing? In order to be able to cast your fishing rod, you must first complete the quest regarding the “Teapot of Permanence”. Once you have done this, go to the Adventurer’s Guild and talk to Katheryne, who will give you the fishing quest.

If you have also completed this task, you can exchange recipes for all types of bait with Nantuck. For each recipe, he requires three “Medaka” fish, which you can often find at fishing spots.

All baits can be crafted at the alchemy workbench. But don’t make the same mistake I did and check the quantity of bait: You craft ten baits at once for each production!

Fishing Spots in Mondstadt

Where can you fish in Mondstadt? In Mondstadt, you can find a total of seven fishing spots:

• North of Dvalin’s Ruins
• South of Dvalin’s Ruins
• At Windrise, northeast of the teleporter
• East of the capital, south of Whispering Woods
• South of the capital, north of Quellingen
• At Windrise, located south of the Statue of The Seven
• Southwest of the Dawn Winery and south of the teleporter

Fishing Spots in Dragonspine

Where can you fish in Dragonspine? Even in the cold area of Dragonspine, fish have made themselves comfortable in a single fishing spot. You can find it south of the Cryo Hypostasis at a small pond.

Fishing Spots in Liyue

Where can you fish in Liyue? In Liyue, there are a total of eleven fishing spots:

• West of the Oceanid, directly northeast of the teleporter in Qingce Village
• North of Dihua Marsh, west of the Statue of The Seven
• Northeast of the sphere located directly behind Aocang Mountain, there are two fishing spots. One is located east of the teleporter and the other fairly south of it
• On Aocang Mountain, in the pond
• Exactly west of Hulao Mountain and its teleporter at the river flowing through the area
• Northwest of Wangshu Inn, at the beach
• At the broken bridge leading to Guili Plains, directly west of the teleporter
• At Luhua Pool, just above the sphere located there
• West of the teleporter in Tianqiu Valley
• Starting from the sphere where you meet Childe, a mountain range leads further east into the sea. Near the top of this mountain range, there is a fishing spot

Fishing Spots in Inazuma

Where can you fish in Inazuma? In Inazuma, you can find seven fishing spots:

• In Ritou on Narukami at the dock where you first entered Inazuma
• The island south of the Amakane Island under the sphere in the water
• At Nazuchi Beach, which connects Kannazuka and Yashiori. Directly north, west of the right teleporter
• South of the Kujou Camp, there are many small islands in the middle of the sea. The fishing spot is located among these islands
• North of the Sangonomiya Shrine on Watatsumi, quite south of the teleporter located in the north
• At the Suigetsu Pool on Watatsumi. In the easternmost part of the small island, near the Wave Rider symbol
• On Seirai, both fishing spots are almost opposite each other. You can find both in the east of Koseki Village
