Despite its considerable age, many players still play Tibia. Some of them even invest a lot of time into the MMORPG. The first player has now reached level 1500 – something that most considered impossible.
Who is the player? The player who has reached this milestone is the Polish Tibia fan “Bobeek”. According to several statistic sites for Tibia, such as guildstats.eu, he is quite a distance in first place for the highest levels.
In an interview with the Polish site mmorpg.org.pl, Bobeek revealed that he started playing Tibia at the age of 10. That was 16 or 17 years ago (at the time of the interview in July 2019, he was 26).
By the way, most high-level characters are Polish or Brazilian. The only character close to his 1500 levels is his fiancée, Goraca, with level 1487. Third place follows with level 1451.
What is special about this? Many players saw the achievement as impossible after the first players reached level 1000 in 2016 (via Tibia Fandom).
However, Bobeek is not done yet. He has now already reached level 1502 and shows no signs of stopping.
“Thousands of hours” Tibia for the record
How long did it take him? Bobeek cannot give an exact number. However, this character has existed for 13 years (March 20, 2007). Mmorpg.org.pl estimates that he must have invested thousands of hours.
He needed three times as much experience for levels 1001-1500 as for levels 1-1000. Especially recently, it has probably become harder, since many areas now provide less experience points.
He is definitely the first player to have reached this level. However, he will probably not be the last, as Tibia is still being played very actively despite its age.

Fans remain loyal to the game and even dedicate their free time to improving it – for example, through graphical updates. However, the popularity also brings problems. Many players have polluted the world for a long time.
