It’s time! The first player has reached WoW Classic Level 60. What most players had to achieve through months of effort, Jokerd accomplished in less than 4 days. Now he wants to delete his level 60 character.
Who is this player? The first player to reach level 60 in WoW Classic is Jokerd. Under the name JokerdTV, he streamed his run on Twitch and was already the first player at level 51 yesterday by a considerable margin.
Jokerd reaches Level 60 and wants to delete the character
How did he do it? Jokerd farmed for days with his gnome mage. As a mage, he could utilize a tactic to pull many enemies together. Then he could use spells like Blizzard and Frost Nova to stop and slowly kill them.
Since he could also supply himself with water, he had to go to the city less often to restock than potential competitors. This allowed Jokerd to reach level 60 in less than four full days. With our 10 tips, you can also quickly reach level 60.
The player probably hardly slept and did little else that was not necessary to survive the grind to level 60 in WoW Classic. Other players resorted to somewhat unscrupulous tricks to avoid being kicked from the game and having to wait in queues.
This is how Jokerd deals with it: After reaching level 60, Jokerd showed on his stream how he will delete his mage. He opened the character screen, clicked “delete”, and followed the instructions for deletion.
At the moment (August 30 at 8:45 PM), he could still not delete his character – because he has mail. As long as a character has unread mail, it cannot be deleted.
In his Twitch chat, people are now calling to send him mail, and more and more letters with congratulations are appearing. The community does not seem to want to allow him to delete the gnome.
Level 60 – and now?
What’s next: Currently, Jokerd is the only player at level 60. Other players, such as the professionals from Method, are lagging behind. The highest player after Jokerd is currently only at level 56 (via dotesports).
As soon as more players reach level 60, the “World First Race” in Classic can begin. Here, several groups will compete again to be the first in the world to defeat famous bosses like Onyxia or Ragnaros (again).
