The new first-person servers bring a new gameplay experience to PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. Next, there will be special leaderboards for this.
A first-person view gives games a whole new gameplay experience, which can otherwise only be found in other camera perspectives like the third-person view. This is also the case with PUBG, which initially offered these servers only for solo or duo queues. Now we are one step further, the game offers the view in additional modes and is already planning the next steps.
First-Person Leaderboard on the Way
For fans of the first-person view, special servers have been provided in PUBG where only this view is available. Clearly, those playing against other players in the third-person view quickly have a disadvantage due to less visibility.
At the start, these special servers were available only for solo or duo registration, but now they are available for all game modes on the NA, EU, and Asia servers. But that’s not the end of the story. As the official Twitter account also announced, there will be “later” exclusive leaderboards for first-person players.
The changes are already well received in the community. On Reddit, user OmfgHaxx writes that the community will soon have nothing to complain about. However, this is quickly denied: “Don’t worry, the community always finds something to complain about,” write other users.
Other players are happy to finally use the first-person servers in squads. By the way, you can have a lot of fun in a squad when you rip off your pants and mingle with the enemies.
To ensure that everything runs more smoothly in your matches, there is now the Week-20-Update. This fixes some bugs and provides better support for PUBG on 6-core processors and higher models. Additionally, the volume of the squeaky tires has been adjusted.
