Fallout 76 will be an online RPG where players can compete against each other in PvP. During a press event, this was seen for the first time, including a mini-game that lets you search for bounty targets on the radio.

Now there are the first real PvP scenes from Fallout 76. Additionally, a new feature has been introduced that allows players to start an “Assassination Game” through a specific radio frequency.
Assassination Game lets you hunt bounties
This is how the Assassination Game works: If you select a specific frequency on the radio of your Pip-Boy, the Assassination Game starts. It is a kind of bounty game where you receive the task to eliminate one of the 24 players on the server.
At the same time, another player is set against you. Your target immediately suffers full damage from you; there is no duel request.
Do you have to participate? No. If the affected players refuse, they cannot be selected as a target. No one can force you to participate in the Assassination Game.

This is how PvP works in Fallout 76
The skepticism of fans persists. Many do not like PvP in a Fallout game. According to Bethesda, they are trying everything to convince solo players and PvE lovers of how they intend to prevent chaos.
- Are surprise attacks possible? While you can shoot other players without warning, the damage is minimal. They first have to shoot back for the fight to actually begin.
- What if you accidentally shoot other players? You can equip a white pacifist flag. With this, you do not inflict damage on other players.
- Can players also be killed with significantly reduced damage? Theoretically, it is possible, but it will likely cost the attacker a lot of ammunition. Griefers also risk penalties.
- What happens to griefers who just won’t give up? If a player kills you while you do not want to participate in any fight, they will be branded a murderer, and a bounty will be placed on them. The player will be visible to everyone on the map and has no way to hide.
- What happens if you get the short end of the stick? Even if you are killed by other players, a PvP death is not a big problem. You keep your gear and caps. You only lose the crafting resources you have in your inventory at that time, and you can collect them from your corpse as long as the enemy player does not take them.
- What role does the level difference play? Your weapon and equipment strength will be adjusted in PvP so that higher-level players cannot just prey on newbies.
Story lovers also need not worry because you cannot initiate PvP fights during quests. Even as a newcomer, you need not worry because PvP is only possible from level 5. You can thus start the game at your own pace.
