World of Jade Dynasty is a new MMORPG from the developer Perfect World. During a game convention in China, the first 4K gameplay was shown, and it looks stunningly beautiful.
What kind of game is this? World of Jade Dynasty is one of the 4 new MMORPGs from Perfect World and is set to be the direct successor to Jade Dynasty. Jade Dynasty was an MMORPG from 2007, which was playable in the West but was discontinued in 2018.
The new title is set to take place in the same universe but will feature fresh graphics and the latest technology.
The latest gameplay from China Joy 2021 showcases how well the technology and graphics are implemented. Over 5 minutes of gameplay from World of Jade Dynasty was shown in 4K.

Graphics impress with reflections and details, reminiscent of a better Swords of Legends
What is noticeable about the gameplay? World of Jade Dynasty looks visually outstanding and is therefore referred to by some as a “next-gen MMORPG”.
Particularly notable are the beautiful lighting, the reflections in the water, and the many details, such as the hair on the dragon’s face at minute 2 of the video.
The first gameplay from early August was only available in a significantly lower quality.
What is being criticized? Many Western players find that World of Jade Dynasty reminds them of the recently released Swords of Legends Online. Although this MMORPG is considered beautiful, it has yet to generate any major hype.
On YouTube, some English-speaking commentators are not fond of the Asian style in World of Jade Dynasty and prefer a Western game with such strong graphics.

What do we know so far about World of Jade Dynasty? Not much:

- It is supposed to have 4 seasons as well as a dynamic day-night cycle
The game’s release is planned for 2022 for PC. However, it is expected to be released only in China initially.
Will World of Jade Dynasty come to us? Whether and when World of Jade Dynasty will be released in the West is uncertain.
