The PS4 firmware 6.0 is currently still in beta testing. However, within the framework of the third beta phase, a feature has now become known that many PS4 users have been waiting for a long time. The previously cumbersome search function of the PS Store is being revised.
In the recently started third beta phase for PlayStation 4 firmware 6.0, testers have noticed a new feature that is likely to please many PS4 users.
Firmware 6.0 brings improved search function for the PS Store
Sony has visually revised the bulky search function of the PlayStation Store.

Instead of scrolling through the alphabet letter by letter in multiple columns, PS4 users will now have the option to use a virtual keyboard. This reduces the input time compared to the current model.
But not only the input itself will become faster with the new feature. Apparently, the response time of the search has also been improved. Early testers report that the new search function is “snappy as fuck” – meaning very fast.

Search results are updated with each additional letter. The tiles of the corresponding search results have also been redesigned. In addition to the search results, additional product information is now displayed.

Furthermore, it is possible to search the store for publishers or genres with a specific input using the keyboard.
By the way: Keep in mind that this is an ongoing beta test and some details and features may still change. When the final version of firmware 6.0 will go live is currently unknown.
What do you think of this feature? Have you also been hoping for an improvement in the search, or are you completely indifferent to this function?
