Find all 18 Sky Shards in ESO Elsweyr – Guide with map

In The Elder Scrolls Online you can find Skyshards again in the new add-on Elsweyr. They bring you free skill points in the Elder Scrolls MMORPG.

What are Skyshards? Skyshards have been around since the base game in ESO. They are large, glowing crystals that are visible from afar due to the beam of light that shines from them into the sky.

If you collect three Skyshards, you get a skill point for free. This is extremely important for beginners or new characters, as at the beginning of the game you usually have more skills available than points to spend. A free skill point is always welcome.

How to find all Skyshards in Elsweyr

Each area in ESO has a specific number of Skyshards. This also applies to the brand new Cat Kingdom Elsweyr. There you can even find 18 shards, which corresponds to a total of six skill points. Find out here where you can find all 18 Skyshards.

Skyshard 1 – Waterfall near Stromfeste

Here you will find the Skyshard: West of Stromfeste is a small waterfall. The Skyshard is up there.

Skyshard 2 – At the ruins of the Hunters

Here you will find the Skyshard: In the area “The Hunt” there is a destroyed house off the road. The shard is there.

Skyshard 3 – At the Shadowdance ruins

Here you will find the Skyshard: In the northeast of the Shadowdance ruins is a creek and the shard is there.

Skyshard 4 – In the fields before Krempen

Here you will find the Skyshard: The Moon Sugar field in front of Krempen hosts a Skyshard. It lies on a cart.

Skyshard 5 – At the Wayshrine of Stiche

Here you will find the Skyshard: The Wayshrine of Stiche is in the center of the map. There is not only a fun quest with talking cats here. It goes deep down into a gorge and the shard lies among some debris.

Skyshard 6 – Cave at the Moon Gate of Anequina

Here you will find the Skyshard: The Moon Gate is located in the south, west of the Wayshrine of Sonnspitz. From the gate, go left along the wall and you will eventually find a cave with wolves. Inside is the Skyshard.

Skyshard 7 – In the Wonnetal

Here you will find the Skyshard: East of Sonnspitz is the Wonnetal. Climb the mountain there and you will find the Skyshard.

Skyshard 8 – At the burned-down farm

Here you will find the Skyshard: You will find the burned farm in the wilderness west of the dungeon “Gestrüpp”.

Skyshard 9 – At Riefe in the Mountains

Here you will find the Skyshard: Go from the Wayshrine of Narbenendes in the west. From there, reach Riefe and continue down the path southeast until you find stone pillars with the shard.

Skyshard 10 – Cliff above the Ashen Scar

Here you will find the Skyshard: At the Ashen Scar on a rock arch high above the cliff, you can find the Skyshard. Ideally, you come from the north, then you are at the top and do not have to climb your way up.

Skyshard 11 – In the sewers beneath Orkruh

Here you will find the Skyshard: Once you are in Orkruh and enter the sewers there, you can find another Skyshard.

Skyshard 12 – In the Necropolis of Krempen

Here you will find the Skyshard: In the southwest of Krempen is an intersection where you can find the Necropolis on your right. There, in the northeast, is a Skyshard.

Skyshard 13 – At the Desert Wind Caves

Here you will find the Skyshard: In the mountains northeast of the Wayshrine of Stiche is the Desert Wind Cave. Inside is another Skyshard.

Skyshard 14 – In the Predator Mesa

Here you will find the Skyshard: The Predator Mesa is directly west of Elsweyr. There, again, in the north is the Skyshard.

Skyshard 15 – In the Hoard of Shame

Here you will find the Skyshard: West of Stromfeste is the dungeon “Hoard of Shame”. Inside, in the south, is a large room where the shard is also located.

Skyshard 16 – In the Darkpool Mine

Here you will find the Skyshard: From the Wayshrine of Narbenendes, go north to the Darkpool Mine. Inside, the shard is on a small island in the largest chamber of the cave.

Skyshard 17 – In the Thicket

Here you will find the Skyshard: In the southeast, near the main road, is a dungeon called “The Thicket”. In the southeast, the shard is hidden behind some thicket.

Skyshard 18 – In the Tomb of the Snakes

Here you will find the Skyshard: between Stromfeste and Krempen is the Tomb of the Snakes. Always go left there until you reach a room with four pillars and a Minotaur, where you will also find the shard.

Have fun searching for the shards. Especially if you are playing a new Necromancer, the skill points will surely come in handy.
