Patch 11 is aimed at making the survival MMO Fallout 76 more accessible and improving things that have long bothered players. Now we also know when the update will go live on the servers for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
When is Patch 11 coming? After being roughly announced for “mid-July 2019,” there is now a release date for Patch 11 in Fallout 76. The update is set to go live on the servers on July 16, 2019, if everything goes according to plan. Bethesda announced this on the Fallout news page “Inside the Vault”.
Patch 11 – An Important Update for Fallout 76
What is so good about Patch 11? Fans of Fallout 76 are eager for the patch as it brings a number of meaningful new features and improvements:
- “Large quantities” will no longer be broken down into individual parts when using “Scrap All.” This annoyance has troubled players since release and is set to become a thing of the past.
- The game will become more accessible for newcomers, for example, by making fast travel cheaper, some monsters weaker, and food last longer.
- The game will be more organized. You will now see all attributes of legendary items in the trade, sale, and container menus.
- Recipes and mods will now include descriptions of the items that can be crafted with them.
- Power Armors will become even better, as you can now use Stealth Boys with them.
- The popular bowl for the C.A.M.P. is back and invites you to taste homemade alcohol.
You will find these and other new features in the official patch notes on July 16.
Grilling in Fallout 76
What else is planned? In “Inside the Vault,” Bethesda shared a few more details. A special in-game event is scheduled for the end of July 2019, focusing on grilling. The Super Mutant Grahm will be out with his friend “Chally the Moo Cow” to host the ultimate barbecue party.
He will organize a big barbecue event where Vault dwellers can participate. If your help leads to a successful party, Grahm will reward you. More details will be revealed at the end of July when the festival begins.
Fallout at Quakecon: Bethesda also reminds you of the upcoming fan event Quakecon, which takes place from July 25 to 28, 2019.
Fallout 76 will also be present there, and new information will be revealed about Wastelanders, Nuclear Winter battle royale, and the upcoming Vaults.
