In the State of the Game from May 8th, the developers talked about The Division 2 regarding Title Update 3 and when it will be released. Additionally, the PTS will go offline. Here are all the details from the stream.
When is Title Update 3 coming? In the community stream, the developers did not reveal an exact date, but the update is expected to be released next week.
While it is therefore not possible to say exactly on which day the patch will come – since maintenance is always scheduled for Thursdays, this could be a possible release day.
However, during the last major update on April 5th, maintenance was simply moved to a Friday. So we might have to wait and see.
Update May 13th, 7:44 PM: It is now known that the patch will actually be released on Tuesday, May 14th.
Title Update 3 brings changes in all areas
This is what the update contains: Title Update 3 was not tested on the PTS (Public Test Server) without reason for about three weeks. It brings numerous
- new features like a completion screen that shows your data after missions
- balance changes to weapon and gear talents and many other aspects of the game
- optimizations such as more sources to obtain blueprints
- there will also be some adjustments in PvP and the Dark Zone. Skills in PvP are supposed to be stronger. Bosses will now also guarantee contaminated loot
What about the Gear Score increase? One of the changes that has been rather unpopular since its announcement has also been scrapped – or rather postponed. The items with a Gear Score of 515 will not be released with Title Update 3 after all.
What about the raid? Additionally, the raid is part of the update, which, according to the developers, is expected to be released shortly after. Prepare yourself for the raid.
Will the PTS still be online? No. The test servers will go offline tomorrow, May 9th. There is no exact time for that yet.
There are still no patch notes, but as soon as they are released, we will summarize all the new information for you as always.
