Many players have been waiting for this: Destiny 2 is adjusting the Nightfall strike rotation and the availability of powerful weapon forms for the Weekly Reset. Guardians should no longer have to wait weeks or months for them.
Bungie is addressing these annoying issues: Who doesn’t know this? You need a specific item for a triumph, a seal, or a title – but it can only be found in a certain Nightfall strike. And it just won’t come. Even after several weeks. Or even months.
Or you want to complete a specific weapon form at Ada-1 – for a better roll or because you are still missing the weapon. Like the heavy machine gun Hammerhead. But the form just doesn’t appear in her inventory for weeks.
According to the developers in their current “This Week at Bungie” blog, that should finally come to an end.

This is how Bungie improves the weekly reset
This is how Bungie plans to tackle the problems: So that Guardians can look forward to the reset instead of just cursing about it, Bungie intends to address these two annoying problem areas.
Changes to the Nightfall strikes: From now on, Bungie wants to ensure that strings are avoided in which certain Nightfall strikes do not appear for several weeks in a row or even for months.
In addition, there is work being done to ensure that Nightfall strikes related to seals and triumphs appear regularly in the rotation. According to Bungie, they should be neither “feast nor famine”.

Changes to the weapon forms: Although the weapon forms of the Black Armory are not tied to seals, the developers have noticed that players enjoy frequently hunting for different rolls for their favorite weapons in the forges.
To prevent again having no forms for specific weapons like sniper rifles or machine guns for weeks, the inventory of Ada-1 has been adjusted.
With update 2.2.1, scheduled for April 9, the weekly rotation at the vendor of the Black Armory will be removed. Ada-1 will then offer all weapon forms every week.
Players will only be able to obtain a limited number of different forms per week, but they will have the freedom to choose which ones they are.

This will further improve with update 2.2.1: Ada-1’s inventory is not the only thing that will improve with update 2.2.1. Especially title hunters will soon be accommodated by Bungie. As a result, among other things,
- the drop rates for ghosts, ships, and sparrows from the Dreaming City and the Forsaken raid Last Wish have been doubled, tripled, or even increased even more
- the drop chance for the Thousand Voices has been increased
- the drop rate for various lore books has been increased
