In Final Fantasy XIV, Patch 2.45 arrives on December 9th and brings special wedding packages: Gold, Platinum, or the budget option for penny pinchers.
Starting December 9th, characters in Square Enix’s MMO “Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn” can tie the knot for eternity … or until the subscription runs out. There’s no restriction on gender or race, as time goes by. To get married, a license from the website is required to make it all a bit more serious. You can choose your priest: Some prefer unusual officiants, Kupo.
The “Standard” package is free, while Gold and Platinum come with a small fee (just like a real wedding). You might hear the phrase: If you really loved me, you wouldn’t choose the free-to-play option for the ceremony.
Those who dig a little deeper into their pockets will receive a special Chocobo mount with two seats (romantic!) and a wedding pet.
