In the fantasy MMO Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn, there is now a complete transformation service for the gender, race, and appearance of your characters. Additionally, Patch 2.2.8 has been released. Major announcements are also expected at E3 regarding the next major patch, 2.3.
Final Fantasy 14 may lead a shadowy existence in Europe, but in Asia and America, it is a big deal and has gained even more momentum with the port to PlayStation 4. With the Fantasia service, it is now possible to completely change a character’s appearance, gender, and even race. Fans have been requesting this service for a long time and, as is common in other MMOs, it costs real money.
Patch 2.2.8 in brief
With the newly released 2.8 patch, owners of Animus weapons can now upgrade them to Novus weapons. Additionally, the patch introduces players to a new sightseeing log to explore the most beautiful locations in Eorzea, and the Zodiac storyline will also continue. Also in 2.8 is a preview option that allows you to see how the armor you are currently viewing in the shop will look on your character – and changes are coming to the FATEs. These are dynamic events in the world of Final Fantasy 14:
You will be able to see on the map at the symbol of a FATE how far it has already been completed. I hope this will minimize disappointments of running to a FATE, only to find out that it has already ended by the time you arrive.
Announcements for 2.3 expected at E3
