Square Enix has now started the registration phase for weddings, which will be held in the style of the MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV in collaboration with the Japanese wedding planner Deuxzero.
What are these weddings? In cooperation with the wedding company Deuxzero, Square Enix wants to enable fans of the MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV to experience a wedding like in the game.

What do the ceremonies offer? Everything is supposed to be oriented towards Final Fantasy. From the clothing to the decoration to the wedding cake.
- Clothing: Cosplay outfits reminiscent of the clothing in the MMORPG will be worn during the ceremony.
- Decoration: Weapon replicas from the game, crystals found in the MMORPG, Chocobos, images and scenes from the game, and more will create the appropriate atmosphere.
- Wedding cake and banquet: You will enjoy a delicious cake that also reflects FF14. In addition, there will be a feast designed for up to 142 guests consisting of dishes that are also available in the MMORPG.
- Music: During the ceremony, musical pieces from Final Fantasy XIV will be heard.
What does it cost? A Final Fantasy wedding is said to cost 3.5 million yen. This is approximately 28,000 euros.
What does such a wedding look like? After a wedding was already performed for the press to illustrate how it takes place, there are now further impressions from Square Enix and Deuxzero.
You can see what the dresses look like that will be worn during the ceremony and on which costumes from the game they are based. Everything is very opulent.
The wedding cake is not only designed in the Final Fantasy style, the couple also cuts it classically with weapon replicas from the MMORPG.
The dishes served can be inspired by Final Fantasy 14 and are also arranged accordingly.
When does it start? Since May 22, interested couples can register for such a wedding. The ceremonies take place in Kobe, Japan, and the planning is done by the company Bridal Heart.

Bridal Heart plans with the couple how the wedding will proceed. It is even possible to rent one of three halls, depending on how many guests the couple wants to invite.
