In the fantasy MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV the next week is marked by a long server maintenance: the European data center is moving to Europe. Once that is done, Patch 3.1 is not far away.
Server down on October 19 and 20 for EU servers in Final Fantasy XIV
On Monday morning at 2:00 AM it starts. Then the FF-XIV servers located on the EU server cluster will be unavailable. These are Cerberus, Lich, Moogle, Odin, Phoenix, Ragnarok, Shiva, and Zordiark. They are moving to Europe. The server transfer is expected to last 34 hours. On Tuesday at 12:00 PM it should continue.
Amazing images for Patch 3.1 in Final Fantasy
It has been quite quiet around Final Fantasy XIV in recent weeks: the developers took a little break after Heavensward. But the patch 3.1 is scheduled for early November.
Here a number of screens have been published along with more facts. With 3.1. “As goes light, so goes darkness” the main scenario will continue. The goal is to solidify the fragile peace and clear further obstacles from the path.
And the new 24-player raid “The Void Ark” is introduced briefly. Item level 175 is required from players and the completion of the quest “Sky Pirate.” The Void Ark was once created by mages to save themselves from a flood disaster. Now it drifts as a supposed ghost ship in the sea of clouds. What does one do with such a vessel? Explore and plunder, call the sky pirates cheerfully!
In a week, a new producer letter will also come, informing us more about Patch 3.1 in Final Fantasy XIV.
