The fantasy MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV will really get the Samurai as a new job in Stormblood.
At the Fan Festival in Frankfurt, Square Enix announced, as expected, that the Samurai will be added as a new job to Final Fantasy XIV in June. It will be the second new class .This had already been hotly speculated beforehand – another fan idea was the “Blue Mage."

The Samurai will be a melee DPS class. The “Katana” will be used as a weapon. The job starts at level 50.
The Samurai will be able to deal heavy damage. He uses techniques like “Iai” (Iaidō), the traditional Japanese “way of drawing the sword.” Techniques of “Sen” such as “Setsu” (Snow), “Getsu” (Moon), and “Ka” (Flower) will also play a role.
