In the fantasy MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV, the patch 3.15 has been released today. It brings a lot of work with the Anima weapons.
What are called “Major Patches” in other games are often referred to as “interim patches” in Final Fantasy XIV. Today, the second patch for “As Goes Light, so goes Darkness”, 3.15, was released.
It brings the Anima weapons, which are new job-specific items that stand in the tradition of the Zodiac weapons. In future patches, players will be able to further enhance these weapons. Square Enix only gives an initial hint in the patch notes about how the quests will proceed, then advises players to discuss the details.

The side quest series “Saint Endalim-Theologikum” is not quite so elitist. Here, players accompany the upheaval in a theology seminar.
You can read more about 3.15 in the official patch notes on the FF14 site.
Further developments in Final Fantasy XIV will likely take place on December 23, when the “lightbringer of the game” Naoki Yoshida will hold an audience again and reveal details about the next patch 3.2. This is expected in early 2016.
