In Final Fantasy XIV, today, on March 31st, the last patch before the expansion is being deployed. We show you what’s new in “Before the Fall”.
The last mosaic piece for the story of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is being laid. A total of 16 new quests are added for the main scenario, the last one is necessary if you want to play the main scenario of the expansion “Heavensward“. It starts with “Yda’s Sorrow” in Sunstone. To begin, you need to have completed the quests from the previous patch.
The “instance” Fate Path is suitable for up to 8 players with a minimum item level of 90 and is newly added. Here, players lose only when they lose certain items, not when everyone dies. In addition, Square Enix is heavily improving activities at the Gold Saucer: Especially Triple Triad and the Chocobo race are being improved. The patch is approximately 330 MB on PC.
