The fantasy MMO Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn has gotten a makeover in recent months and is now inviting former fans to dance again.
It somewhat resembles the call from an ex-girlfriend or ex-boyfriend who says they have gotten their life together, recognized the mistakes made in the past, and is asking for a second chance to try again. Or less dramatically: It’s like the grand reopening of a restaurant where the head chef, staff, and interior have all been changed.
Final Fantasy XIV gives players whose subscription has expired the opportunity to log in for free and with no strings attached from yesterday until Friday, September 1st, at 1 PM to take another look at the world of Eorzea. After all, a lot has been done in recent months, and the game truly has nothing to be ashamed of since its relaunch as “A Realm Reborn”.
Apparently, Square Enix believes that Final Fantasy XIV is now finally able to fulfill the hopes of many players who have once left the world of Final Fantasy. Additionally, there’s an offer for newcomers to try the MMO for 14 days for free, but you can only play up to level 20.
