Final Fantasy XIV now features the spectacular opening cinematic for the expansion “Heavensward.”
We have already announced it and now it’s here: The opening cinematic for “Heavensward” is available. To fully enjoy it, however, one should first have gone through the current game content in Final Fantasy XIV. There is a risk of spoilers.
Heavensward will be released on June 23 on PC, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4. We have summarized the most important features here. The opening cinematic now serves as a “bridge” between the current events in Final Fantasy XIV with Patch 2.55 and Heavensward. This will open a new chapter in the story of FF XIV A Realm Reborn.
