In the fantasy MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV the benchmark tool for PC can now be downloaded. With it, players can also create new characters of the Au Ra race.
Heavensward is not only set to bring numerous new features, but also to impress with breathtaking graphics. To see if the home PC can still handle it, it is advisable to consult the benchmark tool of Final Fantasy XIV Heavensward. This sends the player on a journey through the new world and shows where the performance lags and where it runs smoothly.
The benchmark will give a score at the end. This provides clarity. For the calculation, not primarily the graphics card is taken into account as with the previous tool, but rather additional performance characteristics of the computer are considered more strongly. Therefore, according to Square Enix, this tool should be significantly more meaningful than the old one.
With the benchmark tool, players will also be able to switch between DX9 and DX11. The tool weighs approximately 1.6 gigabytes. And the special thing is: With it, players can also create, save, and start immediately on June 23rd.
