The clothing manufacturer BlackMilk announced a collaboration with Final Fantasy 14. Among the clothes are numerous items tailored for fans of the MMORPG. MeinMMO author Jasmin Beverungen will definitely jump on this.
My wardrobe suggests that I have succumbed to numerous video games and animes both professionally and privately. Whether it’s the T-shirt for Oshi no Ko or the sneakers for Sailor Moon – any anime and gaming fan would likely discover a franchise that perfectly suits their taste.
However, it is often difficult to find quality clothing. In many cases, scalpers also come into play during limited collaborations, snatching the clothes right from under our noses. Sometimes, I simply failed myself when I missed a launch and thus couldn’t get my hands on the coveted items.
Recently, the Australian fashion label BlackMilk announced a collaboration with Final Fantasy 14. Since it’s my absolute favorite MMORPG, it’s clear that I have my eye on this collection. I have been eagerly awaiting the lookbook that reveals all the clothing items. And what can I say? My wallet is already crying for help.
Final Fantasy 14 will soon be available as a mobile version:
High-quality clothes for my favorite MMORPG
Final Fantasy 14 has become my all-time favorite MMORPG over the years. I have now spent countless hours in the game, some of them even with MeinMMO editor Alexander Schürlein. This has created many cherished memories. I am even more excited that I can wear stylish motifs from the MMORPG as clothing.
The BlackMilk collection includes a total of 12 clothing items. Among them are various pieces featuring motifs from the FF14 universe, such as:
- A combination of a crop top and skirt featuring running cactuars
- A dress available in 2 lengths, featuring the city of Il Mheg
- Pants that display the world map of Eorzea
I was particularly drawn to the hoodie for the Black Mage. I tend to play more as a Summoner, but the Black Mage also falls into the category of magical ranged attackers. I love how the magic circle hugs the neckline. The colors don’t jump directly at you but rather remain casual and relaxed.
The cactuar also looks just awesome. These sneaky little creatures, which are far too quick for me in the games, I can finally capture on my clothing. I’m not yet 100% sure for what occasions to wear it, but better to have it than need it
– right?
Unlike many of my other clothes, which for example come from Uniqlo or print shops on the internet, the prints on the BlackMilk items look higher quality in the photos. Even though I can’t complain about my 15-euro shirts so far, the clothes from the Australian fashion label seem to be more durable.
Unfortunately, I have never ordered from BlackMilk before and can thus only go by the photos. However, my MeinMMO colleague Nina Schild has been ordering from BlackMilk for many years. She told me whether I can shop at BlackMilk without any worries:
For 11 years, BlackMilk Clothing has been one of my absolute favorites in my wardrobe – and my outfits regularly earn compliments. Whether it’s Zelda, Super Mario, Pokémon, Sailor Moon or Disney – the designs stand out with their creativity and showcase the motifs in a clever way that is rarely found elsewhere. Additionally, there’s the above-average quality: Even after frequent wearing and washing, the fit and colors remain intact. Every piece is produced entirely in Australia from concept to production – a quality claim that is absolutely worth the higher price.

If you are struggling with the decision to order from an Australian online shop like I do, I hope Nina Schild can alleviate your fears. I particularly liked the aspect that she gets complimented on the clothes. I love it when people praise my clothing style. And everyone should see at first glance what a nerdy gamer (and weeb) I am.
If you want to see how the clothes look on the body, you can take a look at the following image:

But beware! There is a major downside to ordering from BlackMilk. Since it’s an Australian shop, additional fees apply. These include:
- Depending on the purchase amount: Shipping costs that can amount to up to 6 euros
- For a purchase amount up to 150 €: Import VAT of 19% on the total value including shipping
- For a purchase amount over 150 €: Customs fees for textiles of 12% plus a handling fee from the carrier, which can amount to about 6-15 €, in addition to shipping costs and import VAT
You come out cheapest by ordering clothes worth 100 to 150 euros. Because then you pay no shipping costs and only the import VAT.
Also note that return shipping is to be paid on your own and can become expensive, depending on the shipping method. So you need to be sure about your size and which motifs you want. BlackMilk offers a size chart on their site that helps measure which size is right for you.
The collection goes on sale on February 3, 2025, at 21:00. If you want one of the pieces, you should be quick. Because experience shows that some items in such gaming collaborations are sold out quickly. So keep your fingers crossed for me that I can snag the clothing!
For me, Final Fantasy 14 is the best MMORPG of all time. But there are other MMORPGs that you should definitely try if you’re a fan of the genre. To know which MMORPGs are trending this year, you should take a look at the following article: The 10 currently best MMOs and MMORPGs of 2025
