In FIFA 23 the event “World Cup Stories” starts today. We are gathering all already known information about the start and leaks.
When does the event start? On Friday, December 2, at 7:00 PM the next event in FIFA 23 starts. This is confirmed by a loading screen in FIFA 23, which also shows a new card design.
Until then, the current Black Friday event in FIFA 23 is still running.
The title of the event is not yet included in the loading screen, but leaks have been talking for a while about the title “World Cup Stories”. The World Cup reference is also included in the loading screen, so it should be the “World Cup Stories” event.
But what can we expect in the event? We look at the information we have so far.
Leaks show potential cards for World Cup Stories in FIFA 23
Update, December 2, 2022: Today the event starts. The leaker “FUT Sheriff” has added more names to the list of possible players (see below).
Among others, Bayern left-back Davies, midfielder Granit Xhaka, forward Richarlison, and Weah in the right midfield are supposed to play a role in the event.
Update, December 1, 2022: Meanwhile, another loading screen in FUT is available. It confirms that more World Cup Heroes will be released for the event.
What does World Cup Stories bring? The exact content of the promo is still unknown, and whether the cards will have any specific gimmicks, or only improved values, is also not clarified. As soon as more details are known, we will update the article.
However, the well-known leaker FUT Sheriff has already revealed some cards that are supposed to appear in the event (via Twitter). These include:
- Virgil van Dijk – Netherlands / Liverpool (CB)
- Marcus Rashford – England / Manchester United (LW)
- Leroy Sané – Germany / Bayern Munich (CAM)
- Laporte – Spain / Manchester City (CB)
- Asensio – Spain / Real Madrid (ST)
