FIFA 23: Twitch streamer Trymacs spends €13,500 on the best team in the world – Loses first match

The Twitch streamer Trymacs has already invested a huge amount of money in his Ultimate Team in FIFA 23, built the probably best team in FUT 23 and still lost his first match.

In his stream marathon on Twitch, Maximilian “Trymacs” Stemmler has been opening packs, trading cards, and building an extremely strong and above all expensive Ultimate Team for days. And this, despite distancing himself from loot boxes just recently after criticism from Jan Böhmermann in the ZDF Magazin Royale:

Nevertheless, the streamer (as of September 30, 2022) claims to have already invested €16,600 in FIFA packs, placing him first on the worldwide FIFA rankings in terms of transfer profits.

Trymacs has the best team in FIFA 23 and still loses

This is his current team: It should be no surprise that Trymacs has a FIFA team that FUT players can only dream of. It is packed with icon cards like Pelé (95), Ronaldinho (91), Zidane (94), Vieira (88), and Roberto Carlos (88).

Even the bench looks impressive, featuring Rudi Völler (89), Kevin De Bruyne (92), and Son (90) as additional top cards.

However, it is not the case that all the icon cards were found in the streamer’s packs. Trymacs himself has only pulled 4 icons so far and sold countless other cards to be able to afford this team.

The Number 1 Whale faces off against Free2Play players

This is how the loss went: Two days ago, when Trymacs’s team had “only” €13,500 invested, he played his first match of FIFA 23 against a friend who has a Road-to-Glory team. This means he does not spend real money on his cards. A duel of “Free 2 Play” vs. “Pay to Win” so to speak.

And you can see that in the cards, as Trymacs faces players like Diogo Jota (85), Aubameyang (85), Lozano (81), or Zakaria (81). There is no trace of icons. Yet, despite this, Trymacs loses this duel in a penalty shootout after ending 2:2 in regular time.

What does Trymacs say about his pack openings? In his stream, Trymacs repeatedly warns his viewers not to spend money on packs and that the chances of top cards are absolutely low. He does this for his viewers, and they should rather watch him and other FIFA streamers instead of investing their own money.
