What is the Team of the Year in FUT? TOTY cards are among the most powerful and sought-after cards that Ultimate Team has to offer. The event features significantly upgraded versions of players who have showcased outstanding performances over the past year.
The special thing: You can vote for the Team of the Year and thus help determine which cards will receive the hefty upgrades in the 90s range.
When does the TOTY start? An official start date has not yet been determined. However, we expect a release on January 20.

The community’s predictions: On reddit there is heated discussion about the nominees, and predictions are being eagerly made about which players could make it into the final team. Here we have gathered a few voices for you:
- gracz21: “The midfield is 99% certain, with De Bruyne, Modric and Casemiro. Anything else would be a shame.”
- Jaychel31: “With the World Cup still fresh in memory, Mbappé will make it into the team. Hopefully, Haaland will be the 12th man, if that happens, because he deserves it so much.”
- PaddyA401: “It will probably be Messi, Benzema, Mbappé, and Haaland in attack. One of them will definitely be the 12th man.”

Who will be the 12th player? In recent years, there has been an additional TOTY card in addition to the regular TOTY squad. In FUT 22, Cristiano Ronaldo was added to the Team of the Year after the fact.
This time, Haaland could have a good chance of securing this spot, should he not end up in the starting eleven anyway.
