The TOTW 1 for FIFA 23 is officially known, even though the game has not even been released yet. We show you which players are in the Team of the Week.
What is the TOTW? The Team of the Week brings improved special cards for players who have distinguished themselves in real football through strong performances. These cards receive stronger attributes and are also worth more on the transfer market.
When will TOTW 1 be released? TOTW 1 was released on Wednesday, September 21, 2022.
How do you get access to it? Anyone who looks at the calendar will notice: The FIFA 23 release is only next week. Nevertheless, TOTW 1 has already been released.
The only way to currently access the cards is the Web App for FIFA 23. It will also be released today. However, you will only be able to rely on trading to earn the necessary coins for TOTW cards.
You can’t play yet, so there are no rewards from Division Rivals & Co. either. The early access to FIFA 23 also starts next Tuesday.
You can also draw the special cards from packs. However, the chances of that are very low.

The most exciting cards in TOTW 1 of FIFA 23
These are the top cards: Naturally, the top cards with high ratings stand out immediately.
- Traoré as a featured player looks like a great right back with his combination of pace, defense, and physicality.
- Kevin de Bruyne brings everything for a strong central midfield.
- Son is one of the typical meta cards and would have been extremely valuable even as a gold card.
- Ciro Immobile has a lethal finish but is often undervalued in FIFA due to low pace. However, that shouldn’t matter too much at the start.
- Valverde is actually a very popular CM player. Now, right from the start, there is a strong card on the wing.
Also exciting: There are also a few cards with lower ratings that look quite interesting right at the start.
- Deulofeu has extremely high pace and strong dribbling. He would be a strong option for the start.
- Saliba also has a low overall rating, but all the attributes you want from a strong center-back.
Moreover, the other TOTW cards don’t look so bad either. Especially now that it is just starting with FIFA 23, they haven’t yet been overshadowed by stronger special cards.
However, it will be difficult to get them. And: They are only included in the game until next Wednesday.
