At FIFA 23, the servers are down on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. Currently, you have no access to online modes like Ultimate Team or Pro Clubs. Here you can find everything about the server status and when you can play again.
FIFA 23 has quite spontaneously announced maintenance and taken the servers offline. Since 6:30 AM this morning, the servers have been down for all online modes.
- The servers are expected to be back online by “noon” – we expect it to be 1 PM (via twitter.com)
- Update 1 PM: The servers are still not back online. There is currently no precise information on when it will continue.
The tweet announcing the end of the server downtime remains vague, only mentioning “noon” in the UTC time zone – which is one hour ahead of our time. The servers could therefore come back online earlier, but possibly also later.
As soon as the servers are back online, we will update this article accordingly.

Why did maintenance occur? There is currently no information on that. However, there is a suspicion that something was wrong with the current Title Update #8.
The update was released on February 21 for PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S. If you would like to take a look at the adjustments, we are linking the Trello board with the patch notes here.
There could, however, also be other reasons – because in addition to FIFA 23, FIFA 18 to 22 are also affected by the server downtime.
If you want to be a bit active on the transfer market while this is going on, then you have time to do that during the maintenance. The Companion App is still online, and you can happily move your players around.
