In FIFA 23 the Rulebreakers event has started. We show you what the event is about and what new special cards are available.
When does Rulebreakers start? The new FUT event started on Friday, October 14th at 19:00. It has replaced the RTTK event, during which dynamic cards related to real football were released.
What are Rulebreakers cards? The “Rulebreakers” are already known from FIFA 21 and FIFA 22. The theme of the event is new special cards whose attributes are somewhat reshuffled. It is not uncommon for some cards to receive downgrades in certain areas, only to become much stronger in other stats.
Last year, for example, there was a Haaland card that had a slightly weaker shot but received boosts in pace, dribbling, passing, and physicality.
What crazy changes there are this time, we will show you here.
Rulebreakers Team 1 – Featuring Ronaldo, Pique, Dzeko, and Bonucci

This is Rulebreakers Team 1: In the first Rulebreakers team, there are some really strong cards. Cristiano Ronaldo gets a new card that has a slight downgrade in shooting (-3 points), but is boosted in all other areas. The dribbling stat is particularly boosted, from 85 to 90.
But the cards of Piqué (89) and Dzeko (88) also look impressive, as both players are given really fast variants with the Rulebreakers event.
Additionally, there are more great cards for Phillips (87), Bonucci (87), Fekir (87), Zaha (86), Godfrey (84), and Aurelio Buta. Due to their strong stats, however, the cards are unlikely to be very cheap.
The complete Rulebreakers Team 1:
