When is the FIFA 23 RTTF Release? The “Road to the Final” event starts on Friday, February 17, 2023, at 7:00 PM. This is confirmed by a new loading screen in Ultimate Team.
It replaces the Future Stars event in FIFA 23. From the start of the event, the new promo team is supposed to be available in packs in Ultimate Team.
What is FIFA 23 Road to the Final? The “Road to…” events are known in FIFA 23 for bringing dynamic cards that can improve further. Typically, they receive upgrades when the player’s team reaches certain milestones in a real football tournament.
Loading screens already show cards for the Champions League, Europa League, and Europa Conference League. The event revolves around these competitions.

Update, February 17, 7:30 AM: The official Champions League account has already shared the first cards.
Thus, the following players will definitely receive an event card:
- David Alaba from Real Madrid
- Roberto Firmino from Liverpool
- Donyell Malen from BVB
What leaks regarding RTTF are there? The well-known leaker Fut Sheriff (via Twitter) has already mentioned some names that are expected to be in RTTF Team 1.
These should include Gabriel Martinelli from Arsenal, Chiesa from Juventus, Juan Miranda from Betis Sevilla, and Kevin Volland from AS Monaco. For the Bundesliga, Diaby is said to be a candidate, who could come as an SBC player.
What you should consider with leaks: Which cards actually come in the event remains to be seen. The names mentioned so far are just leaks, not official information from EA. Therefore, it’s possible that these cards do not appear in RTTF Team 1 – certainty will only come with the start of the event.
