What is this new sprint system? In FIFA 23, EA has introduced the so-called AcceleRATE system, which includes 3 different types of sprints: Controlled, Lengthy, and Explosive. And especially the Lengthy sprint is currently a hot topic, as it can turn relatively slow players into really fast beasts.

What does EA Sports say? Via Twitter, the FIFA developer commented on issues with the new AcceleRATE system. Depending on the combination of chemistry style and player card, not all players are currently receiving the correct types of sprints. The Lengthy and Explosive sprints are affected.
We are investigating a problem where the AcceleRATE values for ‘Explosive’ and ‘Lengthy’ are not being correctly updated for certain combinations of player items and chemistry styles.

However, the development studio has not revealed why the cards are receiving the wrong sprint styles and which cards are affected by the problem. However, an EA developer has once again published the correct values necessary to obtain the different sprint styles on Twitter.
