In Ultimate Team, there are often cards for deserving players who are celebrating a farewell – whether they are leaving a club or even ending their entire career. These “End of an Era” cards are usually extremely strong, but not necessarily cheap.
And this is exactly the kind of card players want to see in FIFA 23.
This is what the community says: Players in the FIFA subreddit are demanding an EOAE card for Zlatan, but they also suspect it could be quite expensive. After all, Ibrahimović is not only an icon in real football but also had special cards that instilled fear and terror in his opponents.
A card that would do justice to his career would likely fall into this category. One user jokes: “The SBC that comes will cost a 93,92,92,91,91,91,90,90,90,90,89,89,89,89,89, Gold-, Silver-, Bronze-Team. And 2k FIFA Points because we should all be damned,” writes a user (via reddit).
However, some users write that they wouldn’t mind this in this particular case:

- “I will make an End-of-an-Era-Ibra card. I don’t care about the price. Zlatan wouldn’t worry about ‘fodder.’ In the last two FIFA titles, I didn’t get any Ibra cards anymore” (via reddit).
Some users, however, also write that they would have to see how expensive the card ultimately ends up being before they would purchase it.
In terms of FIFA, the focus is now already looking ahead, towards “EA Sports FC”. In that game, there are likely to be plenty of new players and ratings, and probably also one or another icon or hero card. And many fans agree: Given his career, Zlatan Ibrahimović is a strong candidate for an icon card in the future.
