In FIFA 23, there is a completely new event called FUT Ballers. We summarize the information here.
When does FUT Ballers start? FUT Ballers started on Friday, March 17, 2023, in Ultimate Team. The event starts at 7:00 PM.
The announcement of the event came a bit as a surprise. On the one hand, because it is a completely new event for FIFA 23, and on the other hand, because players were actually expecting the FUT Birthday. In FIFA 22, for example, the FUT Birthday took place in March.
The traditional Birthday event is likely postponed for now. What is clear: the “FUT Ballers” event is currently running.
FUT Ballers in FIFA 23 – Improve cards with SBCs & tasks
What is FUT Ballers? FUT Ballers is a completely new event that hasn’t existed in previous FIFA editions.
It started on March 17 at 7:00 PM – and not with a team that ends up in packs, as is often the case with other events. Instead, daily Squad Building Challenges with different players will be available throughout the event week.

These can then be improved by completing corresponding “Play-to-Style” challenges.
Additionally, EA Sports explained that players can earn a “FUT Birthday Team 1” pack by fully completing the “Play-to-Style” goals. This is set to be available from March 24. So the Birthday event is likely coming up (via EA.com).
In German, the tasks are called “Play with Style” challenges. The first Squad Building Challenge is already available. There, you can get Liverpool player Luis Díaz for your team. You only need to exchange one team with the requirements: one Liverpool player, 83 team rating, 11 players total.
The task should be easy to solve if you can rely on a few players from the club. More SBCs are expected to follow in the coming days.
Recently, the “Fantasy” event took place in FIFA 23. This also brought an SBC for Dante, who received a pretty crazy striker card for FIFA 23.
