A new FIFA 23 trailer is now live and aims to prepare for the release of the last “typical” FIFA. We summarize all the important information.
When is FIFA 23 released? FIFA 23 will officially be released on September 30 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia. The Ultimate Edition will provide access starting September 27. EA Sports announced this officially with a new trailer.
The new trailer for FIFA 23 went live on July 20, 2022. It premiered on YouTube at 6:00 PM. The trailer features the first glimpse of the new FIFA 23:
In addition to the trailer, a series of information about the new game was released. Among other things, there are innovations such as crossplay, World Cup content, and clubs from women’s football. We have summarized the most important ones for you here:
What is already known about FIFA 23?
This is already official: Even before the trailer went online today, the covers of the standard and ultimate edition of FIFA 23 were published. They not only feature the two cover stars Kylian Mbappé and Sam Kerr but also highlight “HyperMotion 2.”
HyperMotion is the detailed animation technology that was introduced with FIFA 22 on the next-gen version. There seems to be a new version of it.
How exactly the versions differ from each other has not been officially announced yet. It is possible that the trailer will provide clarification here as well.
Furthermore, it is already clear that FIFA 23 will be the last “FIFA” in collaboration between EA Sports and the football world federation FIFA. This year both will still jointly release the new game before continuing on separate paths next year. EA has already announced plans for a new game called “EA Sports FC,” which will bring many of the familiar contents of the FIFA series.
The FIFA organization also announced that they will continue to make football games – even with other developers.
In this context, it was emphasized that FIFA 23 should not only be the last, but also the largest FIFA to date. Promises include among other things:
