FIFA 23 offers you another way to get free packs: FGS Exchange / FGS Swaps. If you watch certain streaming events on Twitch or YouTube, you will earn FGS Tokens. These can be exchanged for packs. How it works is explained by MeinMMO.
What rewards are there? FIFA 23 offers, like its predecessor, “FGS Swaps“: You watch specific FIFA streams on Twitch and YouTube and receive FGS Tokens in return, which can be exchanged for packs in the game:
- 1 Token: Premium Gold Pack Value
- Value: 7,500 Coins
- 2 Tokens: Premium Gold Players Pack
- Value: 25,000 Coins
- 3 Tokens: Prime Gold Players Pack
- Value: 45,000 Coins
- 4 Tokens: Jumbo Rare Players Pack
- Value: 100,000 Coins

You must link your EA accounts with Twitch and/or YouTube and watch specific event streams. In return, you will receive tokens that you can use in FIFA 23 for special SBCs. These FGS SBCs can be repeated as often as you like.

How can I participate? You need to link your FIFA/EA account with the streaming platforms. We will provide the German instructions for this:
At the start of the campaign, only events for Twitch were planned. The dates for YouTube will be announced at a later time.
What do I need to watch? Once you have linked your accounts, you need to search for specific channels on Twitch that have “drops available”. For this, select the “Browse” tab and then “Live Channels”. Filter by “FIFA” and check the icons under the streams.
You can ensure you’re in the right place by regularly checking the official Twitch channel of EA Sports FIFA: FIFA Channel via twitch.com.
Currently, there is no list of specific streamers who will definitely provide you with drops. Streams are expected to be part of the “EA SPORTS Cup”, where the best FIFA players compete against each other.
The days on which the streams will run can already be listed:
- Twitch Dates FGS Tokens
- October 17
- October 24
- October 31
- November 7
- November 14
- November 21
- November 28
- December 5
- January 16
- January 18
- January 21
More dates and the events on YouTube will be announced during the season. In total, there should be 25 FGS events, and thus theoretically 50 tokens could be earned. In practice, however, this number is hard to achieve.
What do I need to know about the tokens? To receive a token, you must watch the selected streams for at least an hour with a linked account.
You can collect one token per event on each platform – that is, 2 per event. However, you can only have one token of an event in your FUT clubs inventory at a time.
If you obtained the Twitch token from October 17, you must spend it before you can receive the YouTube token from October 17. You can then keep that. If you only get one token, you can save it until the end of the event (expected in January).
However, EA states that it can take up to 24 hours for the token to appear in your FIFA account. How well the “2 tokens per event” system works will have to be seen.
