In FIFA 23 Ultimate Team, Fantasy FUT goes into its second round. We explain to you what the new promo is about and show you the new special cards from Team 2.
Update, March 10 at 7:00 PM: In FUT 23, the second team of Fantasy FUT is now live. It brings new dynamic special cards and new Fantasy FUT Hero cards into the game.

When does FUT Fantasy start? A new loading screen in FIFA 23 has revealed the start date of the new event. It starts today, on March 3, 2023, at 7:00 PM.
What is the new event about? As last year, when Fantasy FUT took place in FIFA 23 for the first time, this year’s event also brings new dynamic cards into the game. The cards can receive up to 4 upgrades if the following conditions are met in the next league games:
- The player’s team must achieve a victory in 6 games – Overall rating +1
- The player must participate in 3 of the 6 games – Overall rating +1
- Forwards must be involved in 2 goals and defenders or goalkeepers must not concede goals for 2 games – Overall rating +1
- The team of the respective player may not lose any of the next 6 games – Overall rating +1 and 3 new attributes
However, please note that the games will only be considered starting from March 17.

What content does the new event offer? Currently, no special cards or the exact upgrade rules of the event are known.
So far, we only know the new card design and can see on the loading screen that there will be two different versions of the new special cards. One of them carries the FUT Hero symbol, indicating new Hero cards.
However, as often, there are first leaks that we show you here.
These leaks are currently available: The well-known FUT leaker FUTSheriff (via Twitter) has once again released leaks related to Fantasy FUT.
According to FUTSheriff, there is to be a new version of the Hero cards that can also receive upgrades. On Twitter, the leaker explains that the new Fantasy FUT versions of the Hero cards should receive upgrades for players of their former clubs.
The following Fantasy FUT Heroes are supposed to exist according to FutSheriff:
- Ginola
- Abedi Pele
- Capdevilla
- Cordoba
- Kewell
- King
- Ricken
- Crouch
For example, the Hero card of Ginola would receive upgrades if Newcastle wins, as he played the majority of his career there.
There are supposed to be further dynamic cards that are not Heroes for these players:
- Sanchez
- Depay
- Llorente
- Isak
- Dele Alli
- Fabian
- Saliba
- Gouiri
- Skriniar
- Angelino
- Ndiaye
- Trimmel
- Miller
- Lauriente
- Benrahma
- Fernando
