Update, 18:40: Also today, the release seems to be heading towards 19:00 / 20:00. So far, there is still no update or download available.
However, it is now clear, how likely top cards are in the FIFA 23 packs.
Update, 16:50: So far, the Companion App is still missing, so one has to continue to rely on the web app. Everything indicates a release in the evening – then one can solve additional SBCs in the app. However, some SBCs in FIFA 23 don’t seem to work.
When will the FIFA 23 Companion App be released? So far, there is no official release time for the Companion App. However, one can assume that it will be released this evening, based on the past.
- In FIFA 22, the Companion App started at 19:10.
- In FIFA 21, it started at 20:00.
- Even the launch of the web app yesterday is an indicator. It went live around 19:45.
A start between 19:00 and 20:00 for the Companion App is therefore likely.

FIFA 23: How do I access the Companion App? Download & Login
Does the FIFA 23 Companion App require a download? Yes, this app has to be downloaded from the store. In contrast, the web app can simply be played in the browser.
Who does not have to download? If you already have the FUT 22 app, you only need to update to the new version.
Who can log in to the FIFA 23 Companion App? In principle, players can start using the Companion App from today who:
- Created a FUT club in FIFA 22 and logged into it on their platform before August 1, 2022
- The FUT 22 account must still exist, the club must not be deleted
- The account must be “in good standing”, meaning no rule violations
New players and those who do not meet the requirements can only access the app from the release of FIFA 23.
