What time does FIFA 22 start with EA Play? Only the date, September 22, 2021, has been officially confirmed. However, players seem to be starting to access the trial version now.
Update, 19:00: On Twitter, the EA Play account posted that the trial version is now available for everyone. In the comments, some players report that there are still issues with the PC trial version if they pre-ordered the game. This is a topic in the FIFA subreddit (via reddit).
Update, 17:00: In the FIFA subreddit, players are reporting that the download for the trial version of FIFA 22 is now available in the PlayStation Store (via reddit). Also, some Xbox players can now download the trial version and start with the 10 hours.
Meanwhile, the first TOTW in FIFA 22 has been released.
Update, 12:30: There is still only the information that the Early Access will start during the day. If you are planning to participate in the Early Access, you can find 3 tips on how to make the most of the 10 hours.
Update, September 22, 08:30: So far, the trial version is not yet available. A tweet from EA Help on Twitter at 08:22 confirms: The Early Access starts “later today”. So don’t be surprised if the download and start have not yet worked for you.

In the FIFA subreddit, there is a discussion that the trial might start at 19:00 German time on September 22 (via reddit). The basis for this is a tweet that is currently no longer available.
It is possible that the trial version will only be available in the evening.
Is there a Pre-Load for the FIFA 22 Trial? As of now, there is no official information regarding a pre-load for the trial version with EA Play. At least in the case of Steam, a tweet from EA Help indicates that a pre-load is not being offered.

What is the benefit of Early Access with EA Play in FUT?
How to gain an advantage: Generally, you can earn coins by playing the game. Especially during Early Access, this can be interesting, as you get early budget for activities in the transfer market. You can then use this on the transfer market in the web app and potentially benefit from the fact that not so many players are involved yet – and snag some bargains.
At the same time, there should be some bonus content available during Early Access in FUT.

The costs of EA Play
How much does EA Play cost? The cost depends on your platform of choice.
- Currently, Xbox and PlayStation cost 99 cents per month (via EA Play). Important: EA Play is already included in the Xbox Game Pass.
- It is 3.99 euros per month with Origin or Steam.
- Another alternative is EA Play Pro for 14.99 euros per month.
What is EA Play Pro? EA Play Pro is available for PC via Origin or EA app and grants full access to various special versions of certain games.
This is the case with FIFA 22, with the Ultimate Edition. It will be available to Pro members starting September 22 – and for an unlimited time.
Cancel EA Play: You can cancel EA Play at any time. So if you have had enough of the FIFA trial, you can terminate the subscription afterward. For example, it is possible to secure the trial for 99 cents and then unsubscribe.
