In FIFA 22, the Winter Wildcards event progresses to the next round. We show you what to expect from the event today.
What’s happening in FIFA 22? The Winter Wildcards event has been running since Friday, December 17, and has brought alongside a first promo team numerous player SBCs and various tokens that you need to earn. So there’s a lot going on in Ultimate Team.
What happens today? On Thursday, December 23, the “Winter Wildcards Team 2” will be released at 7:00 PM and will then be in the Packs of FIFA 22. It will appear a day earlier than we are usually used to from FIFA events, which normally bring new content on Fridays.
What can we expect? Basically, the second team consists of 11 cards. The first “Wildcard” team was characterized by the fact that there is no specific aspect that is changed across the whole team, but each card can be individually altered. This applies to the second team as well.
This means: You can expect position changes on some cards, while others may receive boosts to skill moves or weak foot. Additionally, all cards will get boosts to the overall rating and certain individual stats.

Which cards are included? The new team features some strong, improved cards. However, the highly anticipated Ibrahimovic is (for now) not included. The team includes:

Whether more cards will be added remains to be seen in the coming days.
What’s next? In addition to the event team, new objectives will surely go online again, which may bring special cards and rewards. Moreover, more tokens should be released, which can be obtained via SBC or objectives – after all, there should be a total of 24. From December 26, you can exchange your Wildcard tokens.
